Bob Beck was born in California and grew up in a small town in South Dakota. He graduated from Drake University with a degree in business and then went on to Harvard University where he received his M.B.A. in 1966. Bob then spent several years in the corporate world, becoming Vice President and General Manager of a group of toy companies, the most well known being Flexible Flyer Sleds. He concluded that the corporate lifestyle was not for him and began a new career in real estate in Sausalito, California. After a few years of successful practice, he took time off and spent several years sailing in the Caribbean. Bob has been a real estate broker in the Napa Valley since 1984. Beck & Taylor Realty is located on Calistoga’s main street. Bob’s wife, Valerie, manages The Cottage Grove Inn, a bed and breakfast inn with 16 private cottages, which they built in 1996. They are active as host parents in the Rotary Club’s International Youth Exchange Program. Bob’s activities since he has been in Calistoga are listed below:

Jay Richolson is a highly successful real estate professional in the Napa Valley with over 19 years of experience representing clients in the acquisition and disposition of residential and investment properties. Dan is a third generation San Franciscan. Reclocating to Marin County to start his real estate carrer currently now over 45 years in the industry, Dan Dinniene has negotiated millions of dollars in sales and financing throughout Northern California. In addition to commercial and vineyard sales, he gained a wealth of experience as a Chief Title Officer and Certified Senior Escrow Officer for a leading Title Insurer for parts of 20 years. Land divisions, easements and boundary line adjustments were many of the complex assignments, giving him an in depth knowledge of country properties. Living and working in Napa Valley for over 20 years adds value in assiting Buyer’s of commerical, wineries or vineyards in their acquisitions. He takes pride in providing “Steps Above the Expected” with all of his valued clients. |

Ms. Contis received her formal education at the Lyceum and Technische Universitaet in Berlin, Germany, where she earned a BA degree in foreign languages and mathematics and at the Friedrich List College where she received an advanced degree in business economics and finance. Additionally, she took post-graduate language studies at the Sorbonne in Paris. In the United States, Ms. Contis completed professional courses at the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) from which she received her Certified Property Manager designation. In order to further sharpen her professional skills, she attended the School of Mortgage Banking where she completed studies in mortgage banking principles and mortgage lending fundamentals. |

Stephanie is active in community affairs in Calistoga, serving for several years on the Board of Directors of Soroptimist International Calistoga. She has volunteered as a tutor at Calistoga Elementary School, and is currently serving on a Calistoga civic committee addressing human rights issues. She was recently appointed by the mayor of Calistoga to sit on the Housing Element Advisory Committee which will update the Housing Element of the General Plan. This committee will explore housing issues and advise the Planning Commission on the needs of citizens of all income levels for decent, affordable housing. |
Heidi Contis has a twenty-three-year, diverse professional background in the real estate business. Enhancing her real estate sales experience, Ms. Contis has extensive knowledge in real estate asset/property management, real estate research, and property valuations.
Stephanie Duff-Ericksen - Stephanie grew up in Portland, Ore., a descendent of a pioneer family which made its way by covered wagon from Nebraska to Oregon and settled the McKenzie River Valley in the 1800’s. She attended St. Mary’s Academy in Portland, and Oregon State University and Reed College, majoring in English Literature & Joournalism. She joined Beck & Taylor Realty in 2003, but has been engaged in real estate affairs since 1974. Among a variety of real estate transactions, she has successfully negotiated numerous vacant parcel and residential listings and sales in the Napa Valley. Stephanie is experienced in vacant land issues, aided by a pool of expert resources in soils analysis, water well drilling & testing, and witching. She delivers owners and buyers the information they need to complete successful transactions.
